    Creating a New American Culture

Having the courage to care for and love others. Not just  the ones who have been labeled as the same color or race but for all of your fellow Americans or all people particularly those who do not truly have equality.  The belief and the truth is when people choose love and not hate and choose to come together in unity we can create equality rather than injustice.

Why We Need Love Unity Equality

We Are Also the Divided States of America

The United States of America the country where so many have fought to become a citizen and few have chosen to leave proves it’s still the greatest in the world. However it really can’t be argued that we are also the divided states of America and many may question our title of the greatest.  Divided describes the relationship very well not just our political leaders but the masses they lead.  Only a portion of us see ourselves as all Americans, all one and all equal.  A country that is full of diverse ethnic groups and skin tones prefers to be identified not as Americans  but different races and colors which only keeps us more divided rather than united.  The very reason the so called black race or other people of color become the victims in the us and them mentality rather than the we which unites us.  This also includes the police and African American divide that some would call a war at the very least a conflict which is a travesty that must be resolved.  This horrific problem however has helped to shed light on the systemic problem that is evident throughout our society.  The truth is all of the division really comes from far too many of our American citizens against the idea of true equality or liberty and justice for all.

Who is Behind Love Unity Equality

Founder and Amazon Best Selling Author

Ed Hudson AKA EdLove who is also the author of Amazon best seller Black and White it Ain’t Right which is essentially an in depth look at Love Unity Equality.  He believes there is an onus on all ethnicities and skin tones but in particular those who are referred to as white or of European descent to take a stand against injustice.  The category Ed would be labeled in.  However he has had close ties with the African American community having lived in the community the majority of his life fathering and raising 3 sons who have an African American mother. He knew long before he ever heard the MLK quote: don't judge a man by the color of his skin but the content of his character that it was the right thing to do.  He believes it is a special gift and calling God gave him.

Ed has a master’s degree in Religion and served over 6 yrs honorably in the US Army in combat units then as behavioral science specialist/counselor. He played college basketball and has coached youth basketball and played for years in the African American community.  He also has had a successful career in sales including salesman of the year for a large department of a fortune 500 company and has also run his own business.

His degree  is best described as Christian leadership and a study of the Bible but denies being religious and no longer attends church although he believes, prays and thanks God daily.  He is confident God wants us to choose love and not hate as the theme of the Bible is Love and God is Love.  That God loves us and wants us to love Him back and we do that by loving our neighbor as ourselves and  that’s everybody, all skin tones included.  This is what Love Unity Equality is all about: choosing love over hate, unity over division and equality over injustice.

Ed’s vision to Create Love Unity Equality

Starts With Reading His Amazon Best Seller

He is confident will benefit anyone who reads it. In particular moving them closer to the culture described above that we are all Americans all one and all equal.  This is what we believe, this is what we strive for and this is what we assure to the best of our abilities comes to fruition.

He believes there are four areas of focus that can put a huge dent in systemic racism that tie in together and create better communities, creating a better America for all.  Starting with what motivated him to take action the unnecessary loss of life of African Americans by the police.

How to Create Love unity equality

Live It, Preach It, Teach It

There are two ways you can take action to fight racism one is to make it a part of your culture, lifestyle or essentially who you are and live it, preach it and teach it.  Reading my book will definitely give you many ways you can do this. My goal is to reach you and that you are willing to reach others.  You have no idea how big of a difference you can make yourself if you have the courage to do it.

Don't Just Talk About It Be About It

Get involved in something or do something it could be something as simple as reading my book or another book to be more prepared to educate others or advance yourself about the topic  Or buy one of our Tee shirts to make a statement and get people thinking.  Or most importantly get involved in one or as many of the four areas of focus discussed below.

    Four Areas of Focus

There are four things we as people and a society must focus on if we ever hope to have true equality, better communities and a better America as a whole.  Remember racism really started to gain power and wealth and politically this is still a huge reason it exists along w/ fear and a lack of understanding.  People choose hate rather than love because it's easy to hate but it's hard to love and people like that prefer to have an enemy rather than a friend.  I discuss all this in depth in my book but remember love beats hate every day of the week. Give it a try.  Much has to change politically in our country but we can't rely solely on the government.  Ed has a clear cut plan on how the four areas of focus below tie in together and genuinely use Love and Unity to create Equality.

    One Race The Human Race

This starts with understanding despite our differences we are all One Race the Human Race. This may be the most important way to create equality.  Every geneticist who has ever studied the subject agrees that race is not a biological reality. However we make it one because we have bought into the lie and been brainwashed into believing it. Let’s be clear the races were created to gain superiority and divide us and it has worked masterfully. As long as we identify ourselves as different races or different colors particularly black and white with the history of our country equality will only be a pipe dream. The reality is America is made up of a vast amount of ethnic groups who have various skin tones. Until those skin tones become no more relevant than the color of our hair, eyes or the car we drive, the us vs. them mentality will prevail. Racism is a manmade disease. One of the cures is living, preaching and teaching that We Are All Americans, All One and All Equal and doing everything we can to make this way of thinking or culture a reality.

    Equality Not Police Brutality

Understanding the need for police reform and improving African American and police relations is a must.  Cell phone cameras began to shed light on the horrific things that were happening and have always happened far more frequently to African Americans at the hands of the police.  Just one of the many systemic issues impacting African Americans and people of color throughout our society.  The idea here is that we stop what I call the war that has always existed between the police and these communities and get them to genuinely work together to bring all communities to the same standard throughout the city or make the hood look good, which is the next area of focus.

    Make The Hood Look Good

One of the biggest forms of racism is that African Americans and people of color were forced to live in what is now known as the hood.  These substandard communities that have always been neglected in every way other than police presence and were designed for 2nd class citizens at best.  The saddest part is not much has changed. When people who love come together in unity, equality can happen.  Become a person who takes a stand to improve our most neglected neighborhoods. Together we can make the hood look good and assure these communities receive the same attention and meet the same standards for all people and neighborhoods.  There have been and are positive steps being made but this must become the norm if we ever hope to have true equality.

Raise Your Son Not Your Gun

The immense problem of African American children growing up without a father dating all the way back and to  the heinous sin of slavery has created a continuous cycle that many have been unable to break and has ravaged there community.  This has led to an example of a sad truth that I often use.  Hurt people, hurt people and in this case it has resulted in far too many young African American Men dying and a criminal justice system and society that is not overly concerned with the problem. Reaching our youth and breaking the cycle of fatherless children and creating a culture that chooses love and not hate starts with having the courage of raising your son and improving their life and society as a whole.  Not the courage to raise your gun and take the life of someone else’s son or loved one.  It takes a village and you can make a difference.
